Help improve Rounder
If you opt in, Rounder records which public pages you open and whether you choose Share or Maps for a dated event. A venue or campaign link may identify where this visit started. This helps us understand which meetups and local partnerships are useful.
We don’t include your search text, selected map area, precise location, invitation text, or correction message in this measurement. A share tap does not tell us whether a message was sent or anyone attended.
This choice lasts for this browsing session. A first-party cookie keeps the session private from page scripts. It expires after 30 minutes without accepted activity. Turning measurement off clears pending activity on this device and requests that the session cookie be removed; previously accepted activity is not erased by this switch.
Raw measurement is scheduled for deletion after 30 days. Aggregate counts may remain for up to 12 months. Encrypted backups may retain earlier records longer.
Optional measurement is unavailable in this pilot.
Continue to nearby meetups →Private sharing and share options
Anyone with a private share link can view and forward it. The link is unlisted, not an invitation restricted to particular people. Rounder stores the selected listing IDs and reloads current public details when it is opened. We don’t store your invitation text, contacts or recipients.
A secure, HttpOnly browser cookie lets this browser revoke links for up to one year. iOS keeps its separate management credential in the device-only Keychain. share options and a list of your shared links stay on this device. Clearing that data can remove access to management controls. Revoking a link stops new access; it cannot erase details someone already viewed or copied.
Basic service totals count links created, requests to open them and revocations. Open counts include link previews and retries; they do not identify people, prove messages were delivered or record RSVPs. Shared links remain until revoked; account deletion does not revoke links created anonymously.
Customer accounts and saved events
If you create a Rounder customer account, Rounder stores your name, email, secure sign-in details and the dated events you save. These choices sync when you sign in on web or iOS. Customer sign-in is separate from optional measurement and from staff access.
You can update your name, change your password, sign out or delete your customer account from Profile when account services are available. Account deletion removes your account and saved event choices from the active service; encrypted backups may retain earlier records until they expire. Browser sign-in uses a first-party session cookie. The iOS app stores your sign-in session in the device Keychain.
Manage your account →Maps and reports
Google Maps loads when a map is shown. Opening Google Maps or your device’s share options uses those services. Your device location is requested only when you choose a location feature.
Correction reports are separate: information you submit goes to Rounder for review and does not change a listing automatically.
Optional measurement is separate from the basic server requests needed to load pages, maintain security, and operate the service.
Rounder on your home screen
The PWA caches a generic offline fallback. Current event pages, live directory responses and Maps require a network connection. API responses and private account or staff pages are not stored by the offline cache.
On iPhone, open Share in Safari and choose Add to Home Screen.
